We were both in marching band at the University of Florida in 2016, but didn't officially meet until October 2018 at a Halloween party hosted by mutual friends.

A couple days after the party, Kyle asked Savannah out for coffee. We sat there for hours, and Kyle walked Savannah to class afterwards. We've been together ever since!

We continued dating throughout college and went on countless trips to Disney World!

In 2020, we both graduated from the University of Florida. Savannah moved back home to Gulf Breeze, Florida while Kyle stayed in Gainesville. We moved to Washington, D.C. together in 2021 after Savannah was accepted into a master's program here. We have lived in Alexandria, Virginia with our two cats, Duck and Goose, since then!

Kyle surprised Savannah with a weekend trip to the Inn at Little Washington, near the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. When we got to the hotel, Kyle had arranged for roses, chocolates, and champagne to be waiting in the room. Kyle proposed after dinner at the Inn's restaurant (which has 3 Michelin stars!). We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating in the Shenandoah Valley.
